I took this over the weekend. I don't think that the composition is very good but i wanted the picture just for a journalistic approach. We recently had a very dramatic rainstorm and trees everywhere were knocked down and they had to be cleaned up. I was in a moving car so i couldn't think much about the composition.

This picture did not have any thought put into it. I just liked the gold and the leather together. it gave me a classy vibe with the tan pencil skirt in the background. I did a good job when it came to putting the subject in focus. Therefore, despite the simplicity of the picture I like the way it turned out.
Yesterday, after church, my dad took me and my sister to get a veggie burger down by Liberty Station. I wanted to get a picture of the long hallway with all the doors, lights, and arches. I feel like the composition is kind of off but other than that I like how the picture came out.
I took this picture because I liked the brightness of the green in contrast to my black and white shoes. I like to take nature pictures especially now that it has been raining more frequently and now everything looks healthy and vibrant. It also adds texture to the picture because it looks like the leaves are about to come out of the picture because they are all different lengths.
I took this picture originally when i first got my phone again and i decided to use it for my photo edit. At first I was just going to make it easy and put a filter and upload it. However, i put it in black and white and used the eraser to make an effect that the ground is wrapping around my shoes where the rain was. I like the effect that it produced.
I tried to get Reiko's personality in this picture. It all started off as a contact picture but then I realized that there was a lot more. Reiko French is very shy and timid in public. She has these little outbursts at times but for the most part she is very reserved. I believe that i captured that in this picture. I should have got the rest of her knee but i really like the colors and composition otherwise.
I recorded for Thursday's bulletin and i decided i might as well use it for my blog. I like that i got their big smiles in the picture to show that we do have a lot of fun in the BVBulletin class and it is very exciting to film. It shows that they are happy doing what they do.
The school is going under construction. It has been there since Thanksgiving Break but I have yet to see any workers. I am trying to figure out what is going on and why there are holes in the ground. I hope that it gets done soon because a whole section of the school is blocked off.
Today during the bulletin, Mr. Lim was absent. Luckily, Andrew brought his camera so we did not have to film on the Mac computers. I took this picture specifically for the staged photography. I tried to get the background blurry and more focus on the camera filming.
I like the Christmas color scheme and I think it has a good color and composition component. Everything is pretty much symmetrical . The only thing is I cut off the kitty stocking on the left side. I think that this could also count as staged photography considering I decorated it.
It is a tradition in my family that right after Thanksgiving we set up the Christmas decorations. My cats love to chew on and play in the tree so I wanted to get him in the picture. I like the detail of the lights that set a happy mood for the picture.
This Thanksgiving I had my aunt, uncle, and both sets of grandparents over and we had a huge dinner. I wanted to capture this picture so that I can catch all the happiness and emotion. I just wish the chair was out of the way at the bottom and my grandpa had someone to hug.
Today, we had a potluck for Digital Media Production and I was not really able to get a lot of pictures but I did get this one of everybody waiting for the food to be ready. I think it is cool because everyone is carrying the white plates. Butters is smiling so I got some emotion in there too. It was a really fun occasion and I wish I got more pictures with better focus and composition.
When I was leaving basketball practice, I turned the corner and there was this beautiful pink and yellow sunset. I took out my camera as soon as I could. It was about 5:00 so it was darker and the trees and light posts looked black and formed a nice contrast against the sky.
There was a broken pen cap so me and Andrew decided to place it over the camera lens on my phone. Then Butters started to pose and so we focused his eye inside the hole and we produced this picture.
These plants grow right outside my house and I never really paid attention to the dimensions of it. I was walking home one day and recognized the aesthetic appeal of it all and decided to capture the moment. One thing I could have done is include the rest of the tip.
I like this picture especially because Ivy, my 2 year old cat, normally does not like the camera. It took me several tries to get her to look at the camera so I was really happy when I saw that it came out. I like how the focus is really good. I just wish i could have finished her head.
I had my banquet last week and I won the coach's award. Also, my coach made us these little treats to show her appreciation. I wanted to get all the stuff i received in one picture so I placed them all together. I think composition was a little off but I was trying not to get plates or anything in the picture.
This past weekend, I got my hair dyed. I got a lot of compliments on it and I really like the color. My friend said I was in need for a change and that I look more urban. I like the change and I think it fits me really well. In spirit of the change, I decided to take a selfie.
This weekend I went out to Terra Nova Park to play basketball with my sister. I wanted to get some good pictures but my sister really did not want to take pictures of me so I set up my phone to record and then screenshotted the good parts of the videos. Then, I used these pictures for my website and my photo edits. The focus was not very good on my face though.
This week was the Baron Buddies Soccer Tournament. We went out to go take pictures and I was able to catch their cheer. I love all of their happy spirits and it felt great to be there and see all the people going out to support them. I feel like my composition could have been better but I was happy I was able to capture the moment.
This is my best friend. I met her my freshman year and we've been inseparable ever since. In this picture, I wanted to capture her personality so I told her to jump and she ended up making this super happy face and everything came together perfectly.
Yesterday for Halloween, I was able to catch a picture of the costumes of my SAC Program friends. They were super excited to be in a picture and they were very funny. I love their personalities and their enthusiasm. It is very rare to find people with genuine happiness and these are the best people for that. I hope to see them again sometime soon.
